As we age we will naturally lose muscle mass and our ability to perform aerobically for any long periods of activity. This is why it is still critical to keep up with training as we get older, the only difference is that the training goal may be shifted. Instead of training to win championships, the focus may be now to train to keep up with your children or grandkids. You may also still be competing in recreational sports or maybe you are pre-disposed to a genetic condition and weight training keeps it at bay. Whatever the reasoning, we want to help you carry this process forward in your life.
So although you may no longer be training for sport, you are now training to perform in life.

These days are all about hitting some full body strength. Different modalities will be incorporated into this style of training with the intention of performing consistent quality technique first before we load it for those strength gains. We incorporate more complex lifts ie; bench press, squat, chin-ups, deadlifts, lunges, rows, etc. We rotate hypertrophy, strength and power into all of these classes to create the balanced individual.

These classes are utilized to develop both anaerobic and aerobic conditioning. Anything is possible with modalities ranging from AMRAPS, EMOMS, pyramids, tabata, chippers, and our own turf warz. We focus less on the weights and more on the intensity to ramp up heart rate.

Synergy classes focus on developing a balance of strength and conditioning. With our Monday, Wednesday, and Friday classes being used to develop full body strength with the intent of using more complex lifts. The word complex simply meaning more muscle engagement through the lift. These lifts show better benefits as you can hit more development for the body with less exercises, this allows for getting more done in less time.
Our Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday classes focus more on the HIIT style of training. HIIT stands for high intensity interval training. This style is less weight oriented and more bodyweight movements with the goal of increasing a higher heart rate. It is here where we push our body aerobically allowing to enhance our work capacity.
